Well, the road was long and arduous. I feel like I have been working at grad school acceptance since returning from our honeymoon back in August. That would make eight months of studying for the GMAT, writing essays, preparing for interviews, visiting schools, and waiting. So much waiting!
Well, the only waiting left to do is for school to begin. I have just submitted my deposit to UCLA Anderson. Come September, I will be a Bruin! And a Forte Fellow. I am truly honored and excited to have been admitted to Anderson and offered this fellowship. (The scholarship is also a tremendous help.) But most importantly, I am energized by the breadth and depth of programs in which I can participate at UCLA. I'm already gearing up to study under Victor Tabbush and hopefully become involved with the Johnson & Johnson Management Development Institute.
When Jeremy and I embarked on this adventure eight months ago, we surely did not expect to find ourselves ending up in Los Angeles. But a few years in the sun of Southern California -- hopefully Santa Monica -- is starting to sound pretty amazing. Let the adventure begin!

Cole, Once again, you have made a great decision for your life. I am so proud of you and all the things you have done, currently do, and will do in the future. Your decisions have always been spot-on for your life -- even if I did not fully understand them at times. Forgive me for taking a little longer to understand them. You will have another great success with your UCLA decision. Love, Dad
