It was a great holiday season, it just went by so quickly that I barely remember any of it. Let's see, we started with a few relaxing days in Santa Monica. It's hard to believe it's winter here given the weather. No jackets required in Palisades Park!

We then went to Philadelphia. Pretty easy trip, except that it was negative a million degrees.
We even took a quick trip up to New York to visit my very dear friend, Beth and her son Ted who is just two weeks older than Parker. We rode the train to the city, navigated the subway uptown to Beth's apartment, and we introduced the boys to Santa Claus at the Plaza Hotel. But they were not thrilled.

From Philly, we flew back to LA, switched suitcases, and flew up to San Francisco. Hopped into a rental car, and drove to one of the best places in the world, Lake Tahoe. We spent a few days with our old friends and had a great time even though there wasn't much snow. The most shocking moments of the weekend included 1) Realizing that I now shove diapers into my snowboard bag instead of booze and 2) Remembering -- while sitting on the chairlift at Squaw -- that Jeremy and I used to be FUN. But the most endearing moment was watching Parker follow Eva around hoping for another kiss. Young love is the best.

It's kind of challenging for Jeremy and I to get so close to wine country without visiting. Lucky for us, we have some great friends who also don't require much arm twisting to join us for a few tastings. So we partnered up with Team Feth for an evening of food and fun that none of us remember. Success!

We had one night in the city before heading back to LA, so we of course headed to my favorite location in all the world, Crissy Field. Parker had a great time watching the dogs run in and out of the icy cold water. I think he realizes it's a very special place.
